Hi! I'm Amber,

I was born and raised in Nelson, New Zealand, and have been passionate about flowers for over 20 years.

My journey in floristry began during work experience at school, where I discovered my love for creativity and design. Throughout my college years, I worked for several local florists—some of which are no longer around, which certainly shows my age!

After finishing college, I secured a full-time position at a dried flower factory in Richmond, where I continued to develop my skills and deepen my appreciation for the floral industry.

Later, I travelled to Australia and worked part-time for a variety of florists across Sydney, including locations in Town Hall, Kingsford, Randwick, Maroubra Junction, Oxford Street, and Chinatown. During this time, I also completed a three-year floristry programme, earning my Certificate III in Floristry through Sydney Institute TAFE.

When I returned home to New Zealand, I continued working with florist businesses throughout the Nelson region, gaining valuable experience and building lasting relationships within the community.

Today, I am based in central Richmond, operating my own online floral business—a dream that has been many years in the making. Becoming my own boss and creating a business built around my passion for flowers is something I am incredibly grateful for.

​

I put my heart into every arrangement I create. I especially enjoy designing sympathy flowers, as well as large-scale floral displays that allow me to create something truly memorable and meaningful. The only downside is cleaning up afterwards!

​
